CANDLE CARE
Following these simple steps will assist you in obtaining a clean, even burn, and a longer candle life. 6oz candle has a burn time of 40+ hours.
Prior to each burn, always trim your wick to 1/8". Trimming your wick is essential to candle life. Trimming your wick is best completed by using designated wick trimmers or scissors.
The first time you light your candle is the most important! Always allow your candle to reach a full melt pool with each burn. This is accomplished by allowing the wax to melt fully to the edge of the jar. Reaching a full melt pool can take upwards of 2 hours. Extinguishing your candle prior to reaching a full melt pool can cause the candle to tunnel with each new burn. Not allowing a full melt pool to be obtained with your first burn can shorten your candle life and leave access wax in the jar.
Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours.
Burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from children, pets, drafts, and anything flammable. Always burn within sight and never unattended. Once your candle reaches 1/2" of remaining wax, stop burning it. Continuing to burn your candle past this point is a fire hazard.
