CANDLE CARE
Following these simple steps will assist you in obtaining a clean, even burn and a longer candle life. 8oz candle has a burn time of 40+ hours.
Prior to each burn, always trim your wick to ⅛”. Trimming your wick is best completed by using designated wick trimmers or scissors.
The first time you light your candle is the most important! Always allow your candle to reach a full melt pool with each burn. This is accomplished by allowing the wax to melt fully to the edge of the jar. Reaching a full melt pool can take upwards of 2 hours. Extinguishing your candle prior to reaching a full melt pool can cause the candle to tunnel with each new burn. Not allowing a full melt pool to be obtained with your first burn can shorten your candle life and leave excess wax in the jar.
Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours.
Burn your candle on a heat resistant surface, away from children, pets, drafts, and anything flammable. Always burn within sight and never unattended. Once your candle reaches ½” of wax remaining, stop burning it. Continuing to burn your candle past this point is a fire hazard.
